Event: Bath Half Marathon 2010, on 7 March 2010

Story

I managed to run the Bath Half Marathon on the 7 March in a not too shabby time of 2hrs 15mins (and 24 seconds!). Not a PB but that’s not surprising given the lack of training that took place beforehand.

I am now trying to raise a little bit of money for the RSPCA Central London Branch for my run. The Branch helps give a new life to over 2000 animals a year that have had a tough start – like my little cat Sherri who I sadly had to put to sleep on Friday.

If you could even spare £5 towards the excellent work the Branch does I’d be really grateful.

Don't forget to Gift Aid your donation.

Thanks very much, Vicky x

About the charity

Each year the Central London Branch of the RSPCA helps around 1,500 cats, dogs, rabbits and other animals. One of our main activities is running a cat neutering scheme, which helps people who cannot afford vets' fees, to have their animals neutered. This service is available in the Greater London area, with the support of other RSPCA branches and other charities. We also do as much as we can to help animals in distress, and find them permanent or temporary homes. We are a separate charity from RSPCA Headquarters with responsibility for raising funds to pay for the work that we do. We constantly apply our funds to help as many animals as possible in the Branch area.
