Story
Hiya
Ta for visiting my page. The picture on the left is of my godson Ben (and proud i am of it!) at around 3 days old and weighing in at a tiny 1lb 14oz. Ben was born at 25+1 weeks gestation and spent the first 100 days of his life in Liverpool Womens Hospital, before moving to Lancaster for another 40 days. Without the help and support of the people at these hospitals, it's possible that Ben wouldnt be with us today. I'm pleased to say that Ben has not long had his first birthday (though he'll be well on the way to 2 when i run!)
I know that things are tight for everyone at moment, but we can all spare even just a couple of quid for a good cause. I've set my expectation pretty low as far as fundraising goes, so please help me hammer that total!
As always, everyone penny that you donate, helps me to get through the difficulties in training and reminds me that i actually have things pretty good.
Cheers in advance for your donation, it means a lot.
Wayne
P.S. The "fund the Fro" campaign is the inspired idea of my colleague Jude Davies, who has suggested i grow my hair to run the marathon "in costume". Thanks Jude.
Less than a week to go now! The Fro is causing much awe and mirth now. Help me pass the £1,000 mark though!!!
