London vs West Midlands - NHS Charity Rugby Match

NHS Charity Rugby Match · 25 August 2019
My name is Jake Parker and I'm a Paramedic working for West Midlands Ambulance Service.
Following the success of a similar event last year between West Midlands Ambulance Service and South Central Ambulance Service I am organising another match! Our entire team is made up of serving NHS ambulance service personnel who are putting their spare time and bodies on the line to raise money for a charity close to our hearts.
The match will be held on the 25th August at Old Coventrians RFC, Tile Hill Ln, Coventry CV4 9DE with kick off at 14.30. There is an onsite bar for refreshments and spectators / supporters will be greatly encouraged!
The West Midlands Central Accident Resuscitation Emergency (CARE) Team is a charitable organisation that responds to serious medical incidents across the West Midlands in support of the West Midlands Ambulance Service.
Working in teams alongside the West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS), volunteer doctors, nurses, paramedics and other healthcare professionals deliver enhanced clinical care to seriously injured and unwell patients.
The Advanced Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical (PHEM) Teams Deploy In Charity-Funded Rapid Response Vehicles In Support Of The West Midlands Ambulance Service To Deliver Enhanced Clinical Care To Seriously Ill And Injured Patients Across The Region.
Added note: Any donations made on the day of the match in person will be split 50/50 between the CARE team and The Tammy Minshall Fund. The Tammy Minshall Fund is raised funds that will go to the family of Tammy Minshall, the student paramedic who tragically passed away recently whilst on duty with West Midlands Ambulance Service following a traffic collision.
