Trans Pyrenean Trek · 3 September 2011

We provide hospice care for babies, children and young people living with life-limiting conditions and their families. Hospice stays, emergency care, palliative care and end of life care at 3 children's hospices; Little Bridge House in Devon, Charlton Farm in Somerset and Little Harbour in Cornwall.

Story

As most of you know CHSW played a major part in Yasmins short life, for 9 years they supported us and helped us through the hardest time in our lives.

Since Yasmin died in 2004 i have raised over £15,000 for CHSW by trekking.

This year I was going to the Sinai desert but due to the problems in Egypt, so decided to  trek in the Pyrenees mountains instead. This Trek was cancelled so I am now attempting to trek to Machu Picchu in Peru.

We will be trekking for 6 days, at altitudes of 4200 meters, for up to 12 hours a day, this November.

I am also still raising money for MedEquip4Kids, which you can donate to, if you prefer by clicking on            www.justgiving.com/fiona-davey

Thank you for all your support

Fiona
