Hi all....I've never been to Germany or run a marathon- so I thought why not combine the two and raise some money for a good cause along the way!

 

I will be running for 'Get kids going' (details below)...which helps to get disabled kids and young adults into sport- a really important cause- and one I have personally seen the benefits of.

 

GET KIDS GOING is a fantastic charity which helps to get diabled children and young adults up to the age of 26 into sport (aiding over 200,000 kids in the UK) They do this via tailoring equipment and wheelchairs, providing physio, training support etc....and recycle equipment once it is outgrown so nothing should ever go to waste! The cost of a sports wheelchair is 3k, a light manual one is 2k and a trike is £800...so they are really in need of suport.
