We're students from Bournemouth University in the UK who after the sucess of last years marathon are once again hosting an internet webcast Legend of Zelda marathon to raise funds for the UK video games industry charity GamesAid!

GamesAid act as a broker for several non-profits which changes every year so your donate are helping all of these charities:
A charity dedicated to using technology to enhance the quality of life of people with disabilities by enabling them to enjoy computer games and leisure technology.
MAPS is a specialist, early intervention service that provides each young person referred with a handpicked mentor. MAPS commit to journeying with a young person once a week, every week for a whole year out in their local community. The mentor is a consistent and reliable role model who is ready to listen in a confidential manner, whilst at all times upholding safeguarding procedures.
FNF is a charity chiefly concerned with the problems of maintaining a child's relationship with both parents during and after family breakdown. They offer information, advice and support services for parents who could otherwise spend thousands of pounds without achieving a positive outcome for the children.
The Willow Foundation are a national charity that provides special days for seriously ill 16 to 40 year olds. Every special day aims to provide beneficiaries and their loved ones with a break from the realities of their diagnosis and treatment. At a time of uncertainty, spending quality time with family and friends can help restore a sense of normality, boost confidence and create precious memories for the future.
Action For Kids has been helping transform the lives of young people with physical and learning disabilities, across the country, since 1991, through the provision of mobility equipment, learning, training and support.
