The boys of JAVELIN PLATOON, 1 PWRR, took part in the Hastings Half Marathon (13.1 miles) on Sunday 21^st March 2010 to raise money for Army Benevolent Fund, The Soldiers’ Charity. They completed the route as a squad with each of them carrying 13.5Kg of equipment in 2 hours and 36 minutes achieving third place in the public services sector team entries.  The public's support and encouragement was overwhelming and very generous. Any further donations made online at www.justgiving.com/1pwrr-tigers will be very much appreciated.
