Cots For Tots is a cause close to Active Inclusion's heart. Our accountant Rachel gave birth to a baby girl at just 28 weeks old. She had a problem with her lungs and needed a CPAP to breathe, she was highly dependent on the unit's care and needed lots of special equipment to help her get better. All the doctors and nurses at the neonatal intensive care unit at St Michaels hospital worked very hard to help Olivia breathe, so she could get better. Olivia is now a happy and healthy two year old with drive and determination. With your help we can make more children have the best start in life.
The Appeal is raising £1 million to provide 4 life-saving cots and a new intensive care Suite at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St Michael’s Hospital Bristol and a Family Accommodation Suite close by – and we need your help.
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is a very special place. The Unit cares for more than 600 babies every year from Bristol and all over the South West of England. It is the only unit in the South West equipped and able to provide life-saving treatment, care and surgery at the highest level.
Active inclusion are doing a sponsored walk, staff and young people will be dropped off at a random unknown location and will have to find their way to Ashton Court using their navigation skills and teamwork!
Please help us raise as much money as possible Every little helps.
