Story

A group of 13 of us - trustees, team members and supporters - will be raising money for Family Rights Group by completing an ultratriathlon (also know as an Ironman). The thing is we're doing it as a team. Jeremy Westhead, Kevin Makwikila, Stuart Black, Sue White and Cathy Ashley will collectively run a more than a marathon. Jessica Johnston, Ann Chavasse, Jason Nisse and Vicky Rourke will each swim at least 1000m. Paul Hewitt, Mark Gurrey and Andrew Rist will each cycle 56 miles (90km). And David Price is doing all three - cycling 56 miles/90.5 km, swimming 1000m and running 5.4km/3.3 miles [Which means we will be going further than an Ironman - People of Steel maybe!] All these feats to be completed between 19th and 26th October. We work to keep children safe within their family network. We advise parents in England and Wales whose children are in need, at risk or are in care and wider family members raising children unable to remain at home. We campaign for families to have a voice, be treated fairly and get help early.
