Sahara Trek 2008 - in aid of SCOPE ** Trip Change***
Hi People,
Just a quick update for you regarding my Charity Trek, unfortunately i'll no longer able to head to Vietnam.
Don’t worry (I’m still going to be grilled) the trek is still proceeding, but in the wonderful conditions of the Sahara Desert on 13-17 November 08!
I’ll be surrounded by high dunes, most over 150m! We meet our camel men at the northern part of the Erg Chebbi to begin the Saharan adventure. Along the way we climb the highest dune of the Erg Chebbi (170m). Stopping for rest we camp under the desert stars at Hassi Merdani. Trekking up to 9 hours a day, heading east through legendary scenery towards Qlaat Mgouna Tinjdada and Erfoud, ending up west, not far from the village of Merzouga.

I choose to take up this challenge for SCOPE as the charity is very dear to my heart and carries out fantastic work for children and adults with cerebral palsy.
My cousin and superstar was diagnosed with Cerebral palsy at birth. He is now 17 and has gone from strength to strength and is able to live the life he chooses with the great support of this charity.
