RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

On Saturday 3rd October, weather permitting a team of Northern Irish kitesurfers are facing their greatest challenge. To cross the Irish Sea. The team will set aside all the weekends in October 2009, so that all the conditions will be right for the riders to launch from Ballywalter in Northern Ireland to KiteSurf 24 miles to Portlogan in Scotland. Purpose, to help raise funds for local charities.

We are supporting the below four charities and have set up separate donation pages, to allow individual choices to be made. If however you want to support the Kite Challenge but have no specific charity preference please split your donations across all four charities.
