Story
Update:
We've now made the jump on a lovely sunny saturday at headcorn
It was fully amazing, I strongly recommend everyone do this next year :-)
There are a few pics up at my blog. There will be a few more, and I might put the video up too (despite all of the lil "interview" bits being totally awful).
Thanks very much to everyone for their support and donations to Dame Vera Lynn and thanks very much to Rosie for organising it all. For those that have not donated yet, it's not too late, the page will stay up and running for about a month and I'll still take cash sponsorships for a while longer ;-)
Cya soonly

Hey all,
So...err... yeh...
We've decided that it'd be a good idea to jump out of a plane to see if either of us have developed the ability to fly and thought it would be worthwhile raising money for charity at the same time. We'll be doing a tandem skydive with a trained instructor, who learned to fly many aeons ago, so at least if we cannot fly, they can :-). More info on the jump can be found here.
The chosen charity is the Dame Vera Lynn Trust for Children with Cerebal Palsy. This charity supports the families of children with cerebal palsy and other disablilies. It runs the School for Parents which teaches them daily living skills, helping them to get the support they need during the early years of the childs life. More information can be found here.
If you would like to join in, get in touch directly with the Trust via the information on the website, or if you would like to come and watch you're more than welcome, let me know.
We've decided to do seperate sponsorship pages, so to sponsor me please click donate. Fi's sponsorship page is here.
I'll post more info on the build up / fear of this on my blog.
Thanks in advance for your support.
Scott :-)
N.B. £220 of what we have both "Rasied Offline" on our
justgiving pages is the cost of the skydive that we have both put in
ourselves. All donations given will be 100% charitable and not go to
fund our adrenaline addiction ;-)
The £345 target is the
minimum
we must raise in order to do the jump, which is organised by the charity
to
ensure that it is worthwhile for them as well. (i.e. they get at least
£125)
