Let's talk about the other 'C' word. Cancer has continued to affect the lives of thousands of local people. Today, like every day, 2,500 new patients will take their first steps through the doors of one of Bristol city centre hospitals. We know that for many of these patients, their journey through the hospitals will be one of the hardest of their lives.

We believe every single one of them deserves the best possible treatment.

We're asking you to Cycle Against Cancer for those living with cancer, the compassionate and hardworking NHS staff working on Bristol's cancer wards and the loved ones we've lost to cancer.

September usually sees our flagship event, the Bristol to Paris Cycle Challenge, set off to raise vital funds for Bristol city centre hospitals. Due to this years circumstances weve had to postpone the event so were asking you to take on the virtual distance instead. Cycle 450km, the distance from Bristol to Paris, any way and any day. Pick an outdoor route, use a turbo trainer or an exercise bike, or take it on little and often its your challenge!

Launching in September, you can set the days to take on the challenge be it in four days, the whole month or keep going for longer.
