It's to raise dough for Skanda Vale Hospice, near Carmarthen, where anyone with a life threatening illness can experience wonderful physical, emotional and spiritual care, all completely free of charge.

The hospice offers a service not just for the patient but also for their family. The respite service affords the patient's carer some valuable breathing space to rest and recharge their batteries, safe in the knowledge that their loved one is in compassionate and capable hands.

Donating here is quick, easy and totally secure. Skanda Vale Hospice gets your money fast and, if you're a UK taxpayer, 28% in Gift Aid is added to your donation. Just Giving take 5% in commission but the end result is if you give £10 Skanda Vale will receive £12.16.
