Last year John Fleming died from cancer aged 53 and in order to make something positive from yet another death to this disease, four of us decided to organise a charity ride from Lands End to JohnO’Groats to raise money for various cancer charities.

The event takes place in mid June over 5 days with approximately 25 riders and support crew taking part.  The event  covers about 900 miles and riders are doing the challenge individually or in teams of up to 4.  The furthest distance to be covered in a day is 200 miles.

We are looking to give all monies raised to a selection of charities both large and small and to cancer support groups and our aim is to raise £50,000.

All those taking part are covering all their own costs so all monies raised will go to charity.

We are asking you to kindly support our event with as much as you can give and we will try and get as many corporate sponsors as possible mentioned in our publicity.

Any monies you can give either corporately or individually are gratefully received and to date we are up to about £17,000 given or pledged.
