We have both now completed The Great London Swim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o) Myself in 45mins 18secs and Nicky in 34mins 34secs. Our fundraising page is open for another 3 months so you can still donate if you wish to.

Both totally buzzing from the experience and hoping to try again next year and improve our times and raise more pennies for charities which are important to us both for various reasons.

No doubt some pics of our day will be up soon for you all to see how fab we look in wetsuits! ;o)

 

I'm doing it for both MIND and the British Soliosis Reaserch Foundation (BSRF) as it has important meaning with me as some of you may know i have the condition. You can donate to my charity if your feeling extra generous at www.justgiving.com/nicdee The big day is aproaching fast (Sat 3rd July 10.30am - Arghh!!!) so please make both our efforts worth while and give as much or as little as you can. We've both able to swim this distance in the comfort of a nice clean heated swimming pool but openwater swimming all geared up in full body wetsuits is something of a new experience. Promise picture's will follow and i'm sure you won't be disappionted.
