On 25 April I am hosting a Really Wild Clay Day in aid of the Variety Club Children’s Charity and Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. As an additional fundraising challenge and to help raise extra money for both these charities I am trying to sponsor each of the clays we will use on the day; 3,200 in all at a cost of £10 a clay. I know it’s a big number of clays but a donation of £10 will help and any more will be very welcome. I am hoping 320 friends will give more than £100 each and then I will hit my goal!! Please do give as much as you are able and help me raise as much money as possible for these two charities. Please sponsor as many of my clays as you are able; to donate simply visit my fundraising page at www.justgiving.com/laurencedavis1 Great Ormond Street Hospital is the UK’s leading children’s research hospital and one of the world’s top five centers of pediatric excellence. Our staff see 150,000 patient visits every year for the treatment of rare and life-threatening conditions. Unfortunately many of its buildings are outdated and overcrowded, which limits the pioneering medical teams’ ability to care for the children, visit www.gosh.org. For more than 50 years The Variety Club Children’s Charity has been helping sick, disabled and disadvantaged children by providing Sunshine Coaches, electric wheelchairs, outings to exciting places, equipping children’s hospitals and helping in many other ways. This is made possible because volunteers from many walks of life generously give their time and money, supported by a galaxy of celebrities from show business and sports backgrounds. More information is available at www.varietyclub.org.uk. Please note that although all money will be processed by Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity all proceeds will be split equally between Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity and the Variety Club Children’s Charity after the event. Thank you for all your support Lots of Love Laurence x
