My story
Well we have finished and it took us a mere 10 days. I say mere, there were quite a few painful hills. We are glad that we have done it and in the same breath we are glad it is over (or rather our backsides are glad!). We would like to thank all those that have sponsored us to date and thank all those who will sponsor us until this page finishes. There is a web site now detailing our journey with a few photos. Please feel free to visit the web page and spend a bit of time having a read.

1100 Miles, 11(ish) Days, 2 blokes in lycra!!!
Gaz and I made the decision in September 2007 to carry out the most famous long distance cycle ride in the UK - John O'Groats to Lands End.
We have decided to carry out this venture in aid of 4 charities; British Limbless Ex-Service Men's Association (BLESMA), The Meningitis Trust, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (GOSHCC) and the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF).
The reason for choosing BLESMA is that with the current climate we find ourselves in and the nature of theatre that we are serving in, it is important that we support those that have had so much taken in protecting us. If you wish to know our reasons for choosing the other charities then please visit our other donation pages:

Please donate as much as you can, even 1p can make a difference (but we hope you donate more!)
Help us to raise as much money as possible by forwarding this page to everyone that you know. It is with your help that we can help our chosen charities by giving them as much money as possible.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: British Limbless Ex-Service Men's Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor us now!
Many thanks for your support.
