About our charity : Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (GOSHCC) Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (GOSHCC)
Every year we need to raise £50 million through charitable donations. Great Ormond Street Hospital treats thousands of children who are suffering from the rarest, most complex and often life threatening conditions. Your support can make a huge difference to these children’s lives and help the Hospital during a vital period of redevelopment, as we try to rebuild two-thirds of our clinical buildings in order to treat an extra 20,000 children a year from 2010. 2007 Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity Registered Charity 235825.
Charity Registration No 235825

Our personal message:

Well we have finished and it took us a mere 10 days.  I say mere, there were quite a few painful hills.  We are glad that we have done it and in the same breath we are glad it is over (or rather our backsides are glad!).  We would like to thank all those that have sponsored us to date and thank all those who will sponsor us until this page finishes.  There is a web site now detailing our journey with a few photos.  Please feel free to visit the web page and spend a bit of time having a read.

1100 Miles, 11(ish) Days, 2 blokes in lycra!!!

Gaz and I made the decision in September 2007 to carry out the most famous long distance cycle ride in the UK - John O'Groats to Lands End.

We have decided to carry out this venture in aid of 4 charities; Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (GOSHCC), Meningitis Trust, the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF) and British Limbless Ex-Service Men's Association (BLESMA).

The reason for choosing GOSHCC as one of our charities is Gaz's son was treated in the hospital, and as such Gaz is keen to show them his appreciation by giving something back.  I have carried out charity events for them in the past and I doubt it will be my last.  If you wish to know our reasons for choosing the other charities then please visit our other donation pages:

Please donate as much as you can, even 1p can make a difference (but we hope you donate more!)

Help us to raise as much money as possible by forwarding this page to everyone that you know.  It is with your help that we can help our chosen charities by giving them as much money as possible.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (GOSHCC) will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
