Hi friends,

For the last few months, I have been working with Age UK Lambeth in supporting and facilitating their exciting calendar of online events.

MYsocial was set up by Age UK Lambeth to help people discover friendships, connect with their community, and continue to be lifelong learners. Our goals are to have a real impact on the ability of older people to live independent lives, support their own well-being, and actively contribute to society. We also want to help reduce social isolation and loneliness.

MYsocial provides a social calendar of over 60 events per month for people in our community to attend and make new friendships, discover new hobbies, and learn new skills.

I want to raise money to use specifically for MYsocial events for this summer.  Even as restrictions are lifting, many of our members continue to stay at home.  We want to offer as many online events as we can (concerts, speakers, classes, to name a few!), either for free or at a low cost to members, so that MYsocial can continue to be a vibrant hub for the community.
