Story

I am very pleased to say that I successfully completed the 270 mile London to Paris cycle ride for Dogs Trust. The picture was taken when we reached Paris on Saturday 6 June riding around L’Arc de Triomphe and down Le Champs Elysees (apparently when the Obamas were travelling up the other side) and on to the Eiffel Tower. There were people cheering us and thousands of rugby fans getting ready for the French Final that evening honking their hooters.

It was a great ride and everyone had a fabulous experience. To date I have raised a total of £2002.50 for Dogs Trust.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the ride and Dogs Trust.

I would highly recommend the ride to anybody and after all the training, found the ride easier than expected. There were some great hills but I took my time to slowly spin up them and enjoyed the views!!!

Donations can still be accepted so if you know anyone else who might like to donate, cheques made payable to Dogs Trust can be sent to me or donations can be made online at www.justgiving.com/paris2009

Thank you again
