I will be swimming 1 mile across lake Windermere on Sunday 16th June at 11.30am. I will be entering the water sporting a figure hugging wetsuit and I have been warned that it is very cold! I'm more a pool person for swimming but have decided to challenge myself to help raise some money for a good cause.

I'm doing this in memory of Matt Clark who sadly lost his courageous fight against cancer. He was a fantastic friend to my son Chris who still misses him dearly.

Friends & family of Matt Clark are raising money again in 2013 for Teenage Cancer Trust.  Matt was a wonderfull young man who sadly died of a cancerous brain tumour in 2011 at just 19. This year would be Matts 21st birthday and so in his memory we are hoping to raise as much as we can. So far we have people planning to run and swim in various parts of the country...but this page is for any fund raising activity that we do this year...raffles, cake stall or even bungee jumping, anything goes!!

Teenage Cancer Trust is an amazing charity that helps youngsters and their family thoughout their treatment and beyond..every penny we raise will go to them.

duathlon-for-Matt

In memory of the brave, loved and dearly missed Matt Clark

Oli Hodgson will be taking part in the Ashbourne National Champiomships Duathlon.

This means he will be doing an 8 mile run, followed my a 25 mile bike ride...and then another 2 mile run!!!

The money Oli raises for this event will go straight to the Teenage Cancer Trust in Matt's name so it would be amazing if you could donate, as little or as much as you can spare for this amazing course!!

Superhero-Run-For-Matt

In 2011 Matt Clark sadly passed away.
Last year we ran this event for Matt and managed to raise over SIX THOUSAND pounds for The Teenage Cancer Trust.. A charity which was amazing in its support for Matt throughout his battle!
This Year we will once again be taking to the streets, potentially all dressed as Superheros to raise money and awareness for this amazing charity.
