40 hardcore hikers will be tackling the Morecambe Bay Walk in aid of Backup North West.

They will be guided by Michael Wilson the Queens official Guide Over Sands on a 3-4 hour walk. They will be crossing the UKs largest expanse of sand and tidal mud flats, crossing rivers, gullies and two channels.

Backup are a Bolton charity that works with 16-25 year old's who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Backup provide a range of services including temporary and emergency accommodation, support and guidance with 2 aims: Preventing homelessness and Increasing independent living skills
