Dear Friend,
Thanks for visiting our team fundraising page. This is an invitation for you to be part of our climb by sending us Sponsorship.
We are climbing Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro (5,895 metres) in Tanzania, on Sept 21st, U.N. Peace Day. Here we will be speaking out thousands of Peace Messages, including one from every nation on Earth to be expressed during the Peace Ceremony in the summit crater. This is a bid to make a difference to the peace and harmony of the planet.
Our mission is to gather Peace Messages to speak out from high places, inspired by the Tibetan tradition of flying prayer flags on the winds to send peace and harmony to all beings. We have, in the last decade, sent off Messages from 5 major zones of the Earth.:- Andes, Himalayas, Pacific, North Pole and most recently from the South Pole. These have been intensely arduous and sometimes life-threatening journeys. Now by travelling to the roof of Africa, to similarly ‘fire’ this zone with Messages, we are completing a six-pointed multidimensional ‘Star of Peace’ across Earth.
It will not be easy. Some of our team have never climbed a mountain before; some are well into pensioner age; all will be coping with the steepness of the mountain; enduring the extreme altitude; and struggling with the dragging of a peace-tyre holding the Messages, symbolically focusing on “PULLING TOGETHER FOR PEACE”. We will also be carrying with us a large lantern containing the alight World Peace Flame as a potent representation of Peace.
Your support makes a big difference to us and to the world!
THANK YOU
In caring for a peaceful Earth
