Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Last year, my son was diagnosed with a congenital disorder of glycosylation. He has the most common sub type, however, that means he is still only one of roughly 1000 known cases worldwide. I want to raise awareness of these disorders as well as funds to help fund research but also to help support families who are affected by these disorders.

I have decided to walk for 2 miles everyday between rare diseases day and CDG awareness day (78 days) while carrying my son (who is 16kg) on my back. I am grateful for any and all support anyone can give me for this. Thank you.
