Every day, human rights defenders speak out for the rights of others, risking their livelihoods, liberty, and often their lives. Peace Brigades International defend the defenders. We stand shoulder to shoulder with defenders on the ground in a powerful display of international solidarity that keeps activists alive and allows activism space to thrive; and work alongside them to strengthen their security and enhance their wellbeing. We currently work in: Colombia, Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, Nepal, Kenya and Indonesia.
