I have a YouTube channel and wanted to use it to raise money for a cause very close to my heart.

My daughter Isla arrived 2 1/2 weeks late in October 2016 and due to complications with the birth she contracted a serious bacterial infection. She was admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care unit and spent a week in a combination of Intensive Care and the Special Care Unit before luckily being allowed home. The unit is fantastic and does a great job looking after mainly premature babies and their families. There are a lot of babies that aren't as lucky as Isla and don't come home after a week some are in the unit for months.

The NICU Appeal was launched to raise additional funds to buy extra equipment and enhance the unit to ensure that all the babies will be treated in the best possible environment. 1 in 7 babies born at the Luton & Dunstable University Hospital will need specialist care. Over 900 premature and sick babies are treated in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) every year.
