We are a group of 8 friends doing a sponsored cycle ride through Wales starting on the 18/6/10 from Newport South Wales some 300miles which is in aid of the HelpforHeroes charity, set up to help troops that have been seriously hurt and injured in the warzones around the globe.

I am sure we have all seen the horrific situations these men have been in, but I think coming back home and rebuilding their lives with limbs missing and mental health problems, is something we can never imagine or begin to comprehend. That is why we feel as a group of friends, cyclists, and some of us ex Army/TA, we may be of some help to these soldiers by raising money.

We are trying to raise as much money as we can to support this worthy cause and are asking for your help to enable us to achieve our goal. But any contribution however small would be very much appreciated.

We would like to say thank you to DHL for their help by providing a support vehicle & driver for the duration of the ride.

The pain in our legs will be nothing compared to the pain these people have been through and will go through for the rest of their lives. Lets not let them down.

This is our generations way of showing our support to our service people, please help us to help them.
