Just a quick update on my !!!

There is now just over one month until the marathon and the training is going fairly well, although my body absolutely hates me for it, so far I’ve had; two torn ligaments in my ankle, a snapped tendon below my knee, numerous new toe nails and countless blisters but, as I was told “no one said the marathon was going to be easy”, so I won’t complain. I’m still on target for the golden 3 hours; I did the Silverstone Half last week and managed it in 1 hour 24, coming 59^th/ 7,000. This next month is the most important month with me hopefully completing my longest run of 21 miles and stepping up the speed work.

Hopefully the next email you receive from me is saying that I managed to complete the marathon!!
