The Light The Lakes event sees teams of police officers, staff, retired officers and police friends light up the famous Wainwright fells of Cumbria in memory of colleagues killed.

I want to celebrate the lives of those we have lost, to raise a flare for loved ones and remember their service to both the police force and their Country.

I was lucky several years ago, my family did not have to use COPS, however some are not so lucky and I feel so grateful that I wish to pay forward and what better way than to raise funds for such a cause.
