Story
The poncho project turns fleece blankets into cosy items to send to refugees living in and around Calais. This year we are making snoods which are wide rings of materials to be worn as a scarf or around the head to provide warmth in the cold winter months.
Creating these ponchos brings people together from across Cambridge and helps to raise awareness of what it's like to be a refugee in Calais.
Make a donation today and help fund snoods for refugees in Calais. CamCRAG made items are in high demand by organisations on the ground in Calais, and refugees find them invaluable for warmth and protection from the elements.
In previous years we have made ponchos which have proven to be really popular and useful for those refugees living in Calais through winter.
