A month long challenge from the 1st-30th September, standing in solidarity with the difficult journeys made by refugees and asylum seekers across water.

After a successful first year in 2021, Crossing Over Water is back for 2022! We are looking for committed and enthusiastic individuals or groups to take on this challenge, stand with survivors and raise vital funds for Freedom from Torture.

These activities could be

- Crossing a number of bridges during a walk, run, or cycle.

- Kayaking a certain distance

- Swimming a certain distance

- Walking along a canal or river

- Creating water themed images or paintings

- Anything you would like!

You can do it on your own, with your family, or in another group! Any challenge, big or small, is welcome. So whether you commit to swimming the distance of the channel, or taking a casual walk across a local bridge with your family, this is an incredible opportunity to get more involved with our work.
