Support Bridge to Bridge 2026 and Change a Child’s Life
Across the UK, hundreds of children from seafaring families are facing crisis. Some have lost a parent. Others are living with the impact of sudden illness, trauma, family breakdown, or the harsh realities of life linked to the sea.
Many of these families are forced into impossible choices:
- Heat the home or buy food?
- A winter coat or the gas bill?
- Christmas gifts or electricity?
Sailors’ Children’s Society is here when the storm hits.
And this challenge, the 205-mile Bridge to Bridge ride, helps make that support possible. This September, riders will cycle from the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge in Dartford to the Humber Bridge, taking on 205 miles over two days or a gruelling 100-mile Day Two challenge.
Every donation is a lifeline that helps provide:
✨ Monthly grants for food, heating and essentials
✨ School uniform and winter clothing
✨ Emotional support during the hardest moments
✨ Holiday breaks that help families reconnect
✨ Crisis support when families feel they have nowhere else to turn
Your donation today will help a child feel safe, valued and cared for. Please support our riders and help us change the lives of seafaring families in crisis.
Every pound truly makes a difference.
Thank you for standing with us.
