Story

What better way to get in the festive spirit than to dress up as Santa and run around London's Victoria Park to the sound of carols and the enticing smell of (free) mince pies!

Were excited to announce that we have teamed up with Skyline events as their Gold Charity Partner for London's largest Santa Run. Take on the 5km or 10km route and raise money for our Breaking Boundaries appeal to clear landmines that threaten the lives of families in Zimbabwe.

Even better, all the money you raise before the 22nd December will be doubled by the UK government.

Costumes are provided including that white beard and we've heard snow might even make an appearance! All finishers will also receive a much-coveted Santa Run medal.

Why run for HALO

Imagine if your office, the children's school and the local hospital were cut off and impossible to reach without crossing a minefield.

That's the reality for families living along Zimbabwe's borders. The village of Musanzikwa is trapped between two minefields.

Every day, children walk between the landmines just to get to school. The villagers need to take their cattle to the borehole to drink. But the only route is through the minefield. Families are desperate to farm their land and feed hungry mouths. But the best land is cut off by the landmines.

Run with HALO on 8th December and raise money to destroy the landmines that threaten the people of Musanzikwa village.
