On Saturday 9th October 2021 a sea of pink will sweep through Belfast as Action Cancer hosts its new 5K & 10K breast cancer walk, Breast Foot Forward, sponsored by SuperValu. Previously called The Bra Walk it has a new name and a new date but the same great reason to take part.

The charity is encouraging men, women and children of all ages to take part in the fun-filled family event which begins from Belfast City Hall from 2pm helping to raise awareness of breast cancer and funds for its unique life saving breast screening service.

Action Cancer is the only charity to provide this service for free to ladies aged 40-49 and 70+. While each breast screening appointment is free to the user the cost to the charity is £120, which is why participation in this event is so important.

Last years event was cancelled due to coronavirus restrictions meaning the charity lost out over £70,000 of fundraising income. Since the beginning of the pandemic Action Cancer has lost 40% of our fundraising income and now we need your help so that we can continue to provide this life saving service. If you raise just £120 you could save life!
