Story
When the phone rings in the middle of the night, we do not get to choose the weather, the terrain or the hour. We simply go.
Across our region, people can find themselves seriously injured or critically ill in places that are hard to reach and far from immediate help. When every second matters, our helicopters and critical care teams are dispatched, often flying into darkness, difficult conditions and remote landscapes to reach those who need us most.
The Cleveland 4 Peaks night challenge will see participants like you walking 13 miles through the dark, climbing Roseberry Topping, Captain Cook’s Monument, Codhill Heights and Highcliffe Nab over two Fridays in March.
📅 Friday 13 March
📅 Friday 20 March
By day, these hills are well known. At night, they become something else entirely. You will move by headtorch, pausing on the peaks to look out across the region, spotting distant lights, listening for nocturnal wildlife and racing the clock to complete the route before midnight.
Every step you take helps us stay ready for the next call. We receive no government funding and rely entirely on the generosity of people like you who believe that everyone deserves the best possible chance of survival, wherever they are.
By taking on this challenge, you keep our helicopters in the air, our crews trained and our life saving care available day and night.
With your support, we can continue to be there when it matters most.
