Challengers have recruited an EPIC team of runners to take on this hugely iconic challenge - the London Marathon! Our team will be running the 26.2 miles on Sunday 26th April 2026, and I hope you will join us in cheering on Team Orange every step of the way!
At Challengers we transform the lives of disabled children, young people and their families through the power of play. At our schemes, disabled young people can make friends and try new activities in a safe, fun and fully inclusive environment! Our mission is a world where all children and young people can play together freely.
Challengers not only benefits the children and young people that attend our schemes but also has an incredible and long lasting impact on their families, allowing parents and carers vital respite from the demands of caring for a disabled young person.
Challenges has been life changing for our 15-year-old son who has had the best summer going out on numerous trips and meeting such wonderful young people who make Challengers happen. He has enjoyed every minute even though we were quite nervous about sending him to a new place, every evening he comes and tells us what he loved and the names of the new friends he made. Thank you for having the most extraordinary service for young people like my son to be able to have a real, summer holiday like other children which is impossible. Challengers is truly unique, your approach, variety of activities you offer for these young people and enthusiasm and positivity of the staff are exemplary.
