The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileThis June, a passionate group of IJM supporters will take on the challenge of a lifetime: an arduous six-day climb of the world's highest free-standing mountain Mount Kilimanjaro, to support the work of International Justice Mission!
Our champions will trek through tropical rainforest, alpine landscape and lunar desert before reaching the stunning glacier at the mountain's summit for sunrise. The group will also spend dedicated time in Kenya with IJM's team that works to combat the police abuse of power and the commercial sexual exploitation of children, and be inspired by the hope of the movement to end violent injustice and slavery around the world.
Over 50 million children, women and men are held in slavery today. Your support today will help IJM continue this crucial work to stop slavery and violent oppression for good.
International Justice Mission is a global organisation working to stop slavery and violence. IJM works with local authorities and partners to:
- bring people to safety
- support survivors with trauma-informed care
- hold perpetrators to account
- strengthen justice systems so that people are protected in the first place
IJM has worked with authorities to bring over 90,000 people to safety since 1997, and seen slavery decrease by up to 86% in places where they have worked. They won't stop until all are free.
