Cycle for Palestine Ireland is an all-Ireland cycle club, supporting people across Ireland to organise cycles in solidarity with the people of Palestine. We have recently formed a Cycling Ireland affiliated club called Lapwing & Sunbird Cycling club.

The Sunbird is the national bird of Palestine and was adopted by the Gaza Sunbirds as a proud and peaceful emblem for their paralympic cycling team. We have adopted the national bird of Ireland, the Lapwing, along with the Sunbird as the logo for our club.

Lapwing & Sunbird Cycle Club inaugural Dublin to Belfast Palestine Solidarity cycle is a 2 day cycle taking place on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th of August. The cycle is suitable for cyclists at all levels with stops every 20-25k, cycle at your own pace for any distance. The cycle is to raise funds for Gaza Sunbirds and their aid distribution to starving communities in Gaza. Everyone is welcome to join our cycle and to show support along the route and at cycle stops.
