This Summer, supporters of Day One Trauma Support will come together for an unforgettable trek to celebrate 5 years of nationwide support and to raise vital funds for people affected by serious and life-changing injury.
About Day One
We are the only national charity to provide personalised care to anyone affected by a catastrophic injury of any kind, their loved ones and their families – for as long it takes. Because we believe that no one who has suffered a catastrophic injury should be left to rebuild their life on their own.
How you can make a difference
As a charity we don’t receive any NHS or Government funding and rely on amazing people like you for 100% of our income. Your support today will mean the world to someone recovering from the emotional and physical trauma of a major injury.
£60 could pay for an hour long session of counselling support, bringing a glimmer of hope and a supportive listening ear at a time of frustration and worry.
£300 could cover the cost of a small emergency grant, helping families with the immediate out-of-pocket expenses created by an accident.
£1,010 could fund a Caseworker for a week, providing one-to-one practical, emotional and financial support to people rebuilding their lives after major trauma.
