Remembering a loved one
Losing someone close to you is one of life’s most difficult experiences. At such a challenging time, many people find comfort in celebrating their loved one’s life by doing something positive in their memory.
Creating an in-memory fundraising page for Dementia UK is a meaningful way to honour your loved one while helping other families facing dementia. Your support helps fund specialist dementia Admiral Nurses, who provide life-changing advice and support to anyone affected by dementia, whenever it is needed.
You might choose to set up a page in place of funeral flowers, mark a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary, or take part in an event in their memory. However you decide to remember your loved one, your fundraising will make a real difference.
Every gift given in memory helps us reach more families with the specialist care and support they need. We are here to make sure no one faces dementia alone.
If you would like someone to talk to, you can call our free Admiral Nurse Dementia Helpline on 0800 888 6678. It’s available Monday to Friday, 9am–9pm, and weekends, 9am–5pm.
