As part of our Annual Ramadan Deployment programme GOHF has chosen Gambia as the country for hands on aid distribution. A team of Volunteers will be travelling one week prior to Ramadan to fulfil this campaign, ensuring it reaches the most needy in time for the blessed month.

We are a 100% donation charity and so is this campaign, meaning every penny of your donations will go towards the cause you have donated to, none of your donations will neither go towards marketing nor administration costs.

All travel expenses such as flights, transportation & accommodation is self funded by the volunteers.

GAMBIA

The Gambia is one of the least developed countries across the world with 48% of its population currently living in poverty.

A Food Pack will cost £40, which will feed a family of 4-5 for a Month. Your contribution will support fellow Muslims to enjoy their Ramadan by providing them with essentials for Suhoor & Iftaar in the blessed Month.

DISTRIBUTION

Day 1 of Aid Distribution will begin on Thursday 20th February lasting for 6 days, which will conclude on Wednesday 26th February.

The Aid Distribution will consist of: Hot meals to Orphans at Orphanages, Toy Gifts and Sweets to Children, Quran to Masjids and Madrasaah’s, Clothes to the Most Needy, Medical Equipment to Hospitals, Sanitation Kits, Ramadan Food Packs.

SADAQAH ONLY: Toys, Sweets, Clothes, Quran, Medical Equipment
