Give Thanks & Give Back began 15 years ago, as an intimate house party. Today, the event has grown into a gala that is a signature event for Horton's Kids and one of the most important sources of fundraising and awareness.

Give Thanks aims to raise more than $250,000 that will directly support a comprehensive array of programs that reach 600 children and families in Wellington Park and Stanton Oaks - two of Washington, DC's most under resourced communities. Horton's Kids takes a holistic, research-based approach to offer a continuum of academic, youth development, family engagement, and health and wellness programs designed to empower children and families to succeed.

These programs have a remarkable impact: Students enrolled in Horton's Kids programs are twice as likely to graduate from high school compared to peers living in the same neighborhoods.

As we end 2022, Horton's Kids is launching an exciting new chapter. But before that chapter begins, we want to toast the visionaries who remain committed to the children and families we've served for over 30 years.
