On August 20th five members of Southsea Nomads Rugby Club, along with two support members, are taking on the epic challenge of cycling from Lands End back to their training ground in Portsmouth.
Over 3 days they will attempt to conquer the 300 miles of undulating, sometimes punishing, roads which stand between them and their goal.
The team have decided to complete this mammoth task in order to raise much-needed donations and awareness for the charity Rugby Against Cancer.
Rugby Against Cancer as a charity aim to raise awareness of cancer whilst also supporting many cancer-based charities and rugby players who, along with their families, are battling this dreadful disease. Any funds raised will be used to support these goals.
If you would like to donate, to help us meet our fundraising aims and fuel what will ultimately be our very sore legs during the ride, that would be amazing. Any amount you can spare would be greatly received.
We better get training!!!
