Story
This is a special day when, across the county, churches open their doors to welcome visitors, while raising vital funds for Lincolnshire Churches Trust and the care of our local churches. Participants are encouraged to travel between churches on foot, by bicycle or by other creative means, enjoying the day between 10 am and 4 pm.
Churches throughout Lincolnshire will be delighted to welcome visitors, helping to support the preservation of these much‑loved historic buildings at the heart of our communities. Please note, however, that some churches may have limited volunteers available on the day, so if access or toilet facilities are important to your plans, we kindly ask that you contact the churches concerned in advance.
We look forward to a peaceful and rewarding day supporting Lincolnshire’s churches, taking in our beautiful countryside and fresh air, and we wish all our walkers and riders a safe, enjoyable and successful fundraising day.
