26.2 Miles for Unpaid Carers 💙
In April 2027, Fiona, Kev and Ben will be taking on the incredible challenge of the London Marathon to raise money for Carers Trust Heart of England.
For Fiona, this challenge is especially close to home. As part of the Carers Trust Heart of England team, she sees first-hand the difference that the right support can make to unpaid carers and young carers across Coventry and Warwickshire. Now, together Kev and Ben, she’s swapping the day job for months of training and 26.2 miles through the streets of London!
Behind every mile is a much bigger reason for running.
Every day, unpaid carers put so much of their own time, energy and lives into supporting someone they love. Some are juggling caring with work and family life, while young carers may be taking on responsibilities that many of their friends never have to think about.
At Carers Trust Heart of England, we want carers to know they are seen, valued and supported.
🎯 Fiona, Kev and Ben are aiming to raise £3,600 between them, helping us continue to be there for carers when they need us most.
There will no doubt be tired legs, early mornings, long training runs and a few moments when they wonder what they’ve signed themselves up for! But knowing that every mile is helping local carers will make it all worthwhile.
Please help us cheer them all the way to the finish line!
Whether you donate, share their page or simply send some encouragement, it all means so much.
Thank you for supporting Fiona, Kev and Ben as they take on 26.2 miles for carers. 💙
