Macfarlanes Charity of the Year 2018/19 is The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. We are raising funds in support of the groundbreaking Cancer Immunotherapy Research Project. This was in part inspired by the experience of one of our firms partners, who underwent life-saving immunotherapy treatment at The Royal Marsden hospital.

Immunotherapy boosts the bodys own immune system to recognise and attack cancer cells and has led to the development of new drugs which now offer hope to patients with advanced and previously untreatable cancer.

Immunotherapy is a real game-changer in cancer treatment, opening up a new avenue for treating cancer which didn't previously exist.
