Every year approximately 100,000 people will have a stroke in the UK and a quarter of these will happen to people of working age or younger and it is the single biggest cause of disability. Different Strokes is the only charity dedicated to younger stroke survivors to provide active peer support through information, advice and rehabilitation services.

Every pound raised from this challenge goes directly to Different Strokes’ core services, helping us continue to keep younger stroke survivors informed, supported, and motivated.

This challenge is all about community, determination, and the shared strength of stroke survivors reclaiming their lives.
