Our Challenge
We are Team NMC – a group of four passionate and dedicated individuals selected by the Neuromuscular Centre (NMC) to take on one of the biggest challenges of our lives: the London Marathon 2026. We are running to raise vital funds to support the NMC’s incredible work in transforming the lives of those living with neuromuscular conditions.
The NMC is a charity that provides life-changing services to individuals affected by neuromuscular conditions, offering everything from physiotherapy to emotional support, helping people live independently and improve their quality of life.
This marathon is not just a race; it’s a commitment to helping people with these conditions, showing that with the right support, anyone can achieve their goals. We’re proud to be part of this initiative and hope to make a difference, one step at a time.
How You Can Help:
We need your support to reach the fundraising goal of £2,500 for each of us . Every penny raised will go directly to the NMC to help fund vital services and programs for people with neuromuscular conditions.

Meet Team NMC:
Greg –My wife has started attending and the level of support and care we received within a session was so inspirational. My wife felt immediately comfortable and is looking forward to returning to relieve further support.
Callum – I am so grateful that my friend has access to the facilities, support, encouragement, and community of the Centre, and it would be a privilege to run for such a wonderful cause, not only for her, but for the countless people the Centre helps.
John – I was diagnosed with Inclusion body Myositis in March 2024 and want to give back to the centre
Jake – I believe this is a great opportunity to raise significant funds for a charity who takes care and pride in delivering amazing physiotherapy treatment's to those with muscular dystrophy.
