Story
OSCAR's Paediatric Brain Tumour Charity are taking on the Yorkshire Marathon/Yorkshire 10-Mile course to raise money to support children with brain tumours and their families, raise awareness of signs and symptoms of this terrible disease, and fund research into better and kinder treatments.
We have run every year since Oscar Hughes died of a brain tumour aged just 9. The charity that bears his name has helped so many other children in the same situation and the team taking on the run are doing so to help even more.
We are joined in the team by a number of runners supporting a little girl with an inoperable brain tumour who will also be cheering us on. OSCAR's are very grateful to all the runners for their support and will continue to work with families like this for as long as they need us.
